The Legacy Circle Newsletter
However you found your way here, welcome. You don't need to be a client, and you don't need to be ready for anything.
Each issue takes on one financial topic that matters after loss, in plain language: what needs your attention, what can safely wait, and how to tell the difference.
Add your name and email. The next issue comes to you.
No cost. No pressure. Your email stays with Mitch.
What arrives
Estates, taxes, accounts, benefits. One thing at a time, explained the way Mitch would explain it sitting across the table from you.
A short conversation with a woman who has already walked through the part you are standing in.
The 90 day checklist, the free course, the workbook. Nothing with a deadline attached to it.
What you won't find
No pressure, no urgency, and nothing that asks you to move faster than you're ready to. Grief has its own timeline. The money side should respect that.
You can reply to any issue. There is no calendar trick on the other end. Just Mitch, reading.
Who writes it
I work with widows at the exact intersection where grief and financial complexity meet, holding finances steady while you get your footing.
I have been a wealth manager for 20 years, but that is not what shaped me. It was my dad, a six year old boy who was in his father's arms when he died, and that boy watching my grandmother figure it out alone with seven young children.
What carries me in this work is my grandmother, and the many other capable, determined, gritty widows I have worked with. This newsletter is the closest thing I have to sitting down with all of you at once.
Mitch Simkins
Two emails a month, one topic at a time, for as long as it helps.
A private community for widows
A quiet place to be understood, get clear answers, and take the next step at the pace that fits you.
After losing a spouse, the financial side of life doesn't pause. It speeds up. Statements arrive. Accounts need attention. Decisions stack on top of grief, and the people around you don't always know what to ask.
Inside The Legacy Circle, you're alongside other widows who understand what this season feels like, with the steady guidance of Mitch Simkins, a wealth advisor who has spent nearly 20 years working with widows through the most complex financial transitions of their lives.
If you're a widow ready to stop carrying it alone, you're welcome here.
